I visited Wurzburg, Germany in October 2007 as part of a whirlwind tour through the country that also included Frankfurt, Trier, Cologne, Heidelberg and Stuttgart. While the weather in late October wasn’t always ideal, I loved the vibrant fall colors like those I saw at the Fortress Marienberg in Wurzburg, pictured above.
